I'm at the observatory right now, mainly to get the dark sky meter and take a measurement.
I'm going to borrow one of the two meters to make sure we get a few measurements during the next two weeks. I'm going to leave the other meter right on the computer desk in the warmroom. If people happen to be at the observatory, they can record measurements on a piece of paper. Taking a measurnment is pretty easy, you just point the device upwards, hit the button, and wait a few seconds for reading. When you hit it again it gives you the temperature: record that as well. We are supposed to submit them online, (http://www.globe.gov/GaN/index.html) and also send our results to the people in Connecticut who sent us the kit.
I might do some casual observing with binoculars to take advantage of the good conditions but I probably won't be here too long. Call to check if you want to visit.
